Fall Foliage In Teller County, Colorado A "Patch" Of Orange-Shaded Aspens

Fall Foliage
The region of Teller County (west of the Colorado Springs area) is well-known for its beautiful autumn colors display. Much of the county is fairly dry and its altitude ranges from 8,000 to 10,000 feet - very helpful factors for aspens to thrive.

The scenic drive along State Highway 67 from Divide to Cripple Creek offers quite a color show for a few weeks of the year. In this photo, I noticed a large patch of orange-shaded aspens right off the highway with quite a few other tourists and photographers alongside.
