Orange Leaves On Aspen At Mueller State Park In Colorado

During a hike at Mueller State Park in Colorado (near Cripple Creek and Divide), I spotted one last remaining aspen that was still displaying some fall colors. It was late October and much of the fall color show was over, which made finding this one particular aspen noteworthy.

Mueller State Park is located in Teller County, west of Colorado Springs, and it is known for having spectacular fall foliage during the autumn months. The drive on Highway 67 from Divide to Cripple Creek is probably your best option for optimum viewing.
