Fall Foliage Photo At Cottonwood Lake In Colorado - September 24, 2006
(Click on the photo to see a larger size of it)
On Sunday morning, a friend and I briefly visited Cottonwood Lake near Buena Vista, Colorado,
and this view of colorful foliage and
mountains definitely caught our eye. Interestingly, we had just returned from a
visit to Cottonwood Pass, which is part of the Continental Divide and sits at 12,000+ feet in altitude.
It was freezing cold up there and covered in
snow after a two-day September snowstorm.
You can see those photos
here if you like: Cottonwood Pass Snow.
This fall foliage picture was taken by Steve Garufi in Buena Vista, Colorado. His web site is: ColoradoGuy.com.
