Autumn Photos Along Cottonwood Pass Road In Colorado (September 16, 2006)
Autumn Foliage It was an extremely dreary morning near the Continental Divide in central Colorado, but I was determined to capture some decent autumn foliage photos!
Cottonwood Pass Road At approximately 9,500+ feet in elevation, a windy snowstorm was happening! This is not uncommon for the rugged high country of Colorado.
Autumn Foliage You can see the snow coming down left to right with soft orange foliage shades in the background.
Autumn Foliage All I need is clear blue skies and I'll be hiking up to those colorful aspens! :)

Some really bright orange leaved aspens.
Colorado Fall Foliage Love the contrast of winter and fall in the same photo.
Colorado Autumn Foliage A nice Rocky Mountain fall foliage picture. Sigh! If only it had been a clear blue sunny morning, it would have looked even better! ;)
