Early Autumn Colors In The Rockies
I was halfway up the canyon towards Cottonwood Pass and noticed some of these bushes in the marsh-like area of the creek showing some fall colors. This shot gives a reflection of the yellow leaves in the creek. I like this photo! As of today, I would say 0.05% of all trees, bushes and plants are showing some fall color, but stay tuned, autumn comes fairly early (like early to mid-September) in Colorado's high country! -Steve (August 21, 2006) This fall foliage picture were taken by Steve Garufi in Buena Vista, Colorado.
